A Book of Wonders – A Short Islamic Themed Story & Comprehension (Digital Printable)

A gentle, engaging Islamic-themed story designed to encourage children to read, think, reflect and talk about what they have learned.

After reading the story, children can work through a selection of comprehension and reflective questions, answering them either verbally or in writing. The questions are designed to help children develop their reading comprehension while also encouraging them to connect the story’s themes and lessons to their own lives.

For younger children, the story and questions can simply be read aloud by a parent, teacher or caregiver, with children discussing their answers verbally. Older or more independent readers can read the story themselves and complete the questions in writing.

There is no fixed age range, as children develop their reading and writing skills at different rates. It is particularly suitable for children under 12, with adults able to adapt the activity to suit the child’s age and ability.

✨ Inside you’ll find:
